I'm glad to have the tree back in the attic, the Christmas china stored, the Snow Village broken down and back in their boxes, and the ornaments in a new compartmentalized storage box! Everything is neatly organized in my newly cleaned out attic.
One thing I've learned - Taking down Christmas decorations is a lot like childbirth. You forget the pain until it's time to do it again.

Lawsy Ms Scarlett I don' kno nuthin' bout birthin no babies...
ReplyDeleteSadly I do and I empathize...
Loving Sush's comment!! I'd never thought of Christmas decorations being like childbirth before, But I guess you have a point my friend! It took us ages taking all ours down on Monday. I quite liked having all the pretty fairy lights around, especially with the dark, miserable days we have over here at the moment.
ReplyDeleteSush, that was a classic! Love it!
ReplyDeleteDiane, I would keep my tree up for months if everyone wouldn't call me lazy, lol. I love the lights and think we should decorate for winter - not necessarily just Christmas.
