AS LIFE HAPPENS.....

We don't get to choose what life throws our way....it just happens. Our real test of character is how we react to the hand we're dealt.

About Me

My Photo
Glenda Manus
South Carolina, United States
My blessings are far too many to list here but among them are my family and friends, a husband who loves me and two beautiful daughters who make me proud! They each married wonderful men who I am equally proud of...and the loves of my life are the grandchildren that they have given me. They are smart, witty and wonderful children.

I come from a large family of seven and although I've have lost three of my siblings, I am still blessed with three wonderful sisters! Oh, and I can't forget my friends - they're my lifeline!

My love for reading a good book has prompted me to try to write one. I am well on my way, but have my ups when I feel like I'm really making progress and my downs when I feel that the challenge is too difficult. But God is with me and although I stumble along the way, I try to follow where He leads.

Last but not least, I am a Christian and the Golden Rule is one I strive to follow. If you see that I've strayed in any of my posts, please give me a nudge to get back on-track.

Writing is a form of therapy

“Writing is a form of therapy; sometimes I wonder how all those, who do not write, compose, or paint can manage to escape the madness, the melancholia, the panic fear, which is inherent in a human condition” Graham Greene
